From Pon Farr to Jamaharon, Star Trek has had a long and complex history when it comes to sex, one that recently came to a "head" in Star Trek Lower Decks season 2, where a controversial scene instigated a discussion about Gene Roddenberry's original vision. But what was Gene’s Vision when it came to sex on Star Trek? How did the great bird of the galaxy wish to fertilize his eggs?
