⁣About Bani Fyah
Born Banyana Alice, also known as Zion Dawta, Bani Fyah hails from Kabale, Uganda, and has become one of the most sought-after female composers, performers, and recording artists in East Africa. She first launched her career in 2013 as a DJ, playing live shows and radio stations across Uganda. In 2017, she recorded her debut project "Trust in Jah," which became a regional hit, solidifying her place in Uganda’s music scene.

Since then, Bani Fyah has performed on both local and international stages, sharing the spotlight with global icons such as Morgan Heritage at festivals like Nyege Nyege, Camp Reggae, and Reggae Bring Back Love. Her work with international labels and producers—including Tuff Kruffy Entertainment's "Democracy Riddim," produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Michael "Hydie" Hyde—has further cemented her as a powerful voice in reggae, dancehall, and Afrobeat.

Bani Fyah is also a co-founder of Njuba Village, a community-driven organization that fosters positive transformation through music, art, and fashion. She continues to support local artists and community members through music and literacy programs, living out her mission of upliftment and empowerment.

Inspired by her early exposure to reggae music as a DJ and selector, Bani Fyah's music reflects a unique blend of traditional and international sounds, always anchored in her personal experiences and the realities of her world.

With this new EP, Bani Fyah offers a powerful reminder of her ability to create genre-defying music that speaks to love, resilience, and positivity.

Okra Water or Coconut Okra Water? @TheRainasKitchen

Here's a fun and unique recipe for pickled okra using a 16oz bottle, 4 okras cut up, and coconut water.

Ingredients:
- 4 okras, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 16oz bottle or jar with a tight-fitting lid
- Enough coconut water to fill the bottle

Instructions:
1. Wash and dry the okras thoroughly. Cut them into bite-sized pieces that will fit into the bottle.
2. Place the okra pieces into the bottle, packing them tightly but leaving some room at the top.
3. Pour coconut water into the bottle, making sure to completely submerge the okra pieces.
4. Close the lid tightly and shake the bottle gently to ensure the coconut water is distributed evenly.
5. Place the bottle in the refrigerator and let it soak for 72 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the okra to pickle.
6. After 72 hours, your pickled okra in coconut water should be ready to enjoy! Serve as a unique and flavorful side dish or snack.

Enjoy your homemade pickled okra with a tropical twist! If you have any other questions or need more recipe ideas, feel free to ask.
