I hope you are all catching on to the fact that I am editing and uploading these songs one at a time. You are witnessing the process. A lot of people have been asking to see the whole concert. The reality is, I have only been able to get into these original analog camera masters in the last year and I am just one person (Diane) trying to bring all these treasures back to life. Editing well takes a little time, so please bear with me as I go through this great concert song by song. (If you are enjoying this work, please help support it with a small donation,, by clicking the "thanks$" button under the video. Your gift will be well appreciated. Once the archive starts bringing in more income, I may be able to assemble a team (or at least an assistant) to get this work up and out faster.

This particular performance of "Born to Suffer" brings Lucky's vocal back-up partner, Thuthukani Cele, out from behind his keyboard (again) to lead the audience in a joyous sing-along. Cannot praise the excellence of Lucky's whole band enough. They didn't just put on a concert, they put on a show and everybody was a part of it. .

Also have to big up our cameramen here: Earl, Stafford and Lee, for their brilliance in live shooting that actually looks live. We had 3 mismatched cameras at this show, but it doesn't matter. The cameras almost function like members of the band—they're right there in the mix.

This performance took place on July 8, 1990 at Bay Street, in Sag Harbor, NY. which is about 100 miles from NYC, on Long Island.

More treasures from Lucky will follow. Thank you all so much for your comments and your repeat visits. It means a lot to me. It's obvious that
Lucky's spirit is as strong as ever.

One love
Diane Strong
