Somalia Military Kills 30 Al-Shabaab Terrorists in a Targeted Operation | Firstpost Africa
The Somali military has hunted down several Al-Shabaab extremists as part of a targeted operation. The Somali army has killed at least 30 terrorists and injured 40 others in the Galmudug state. The crackdown was part of a coordinated military operation undertaken by the Somali army, the Galmudug state forces, and pro-government local clan militias. The operation was conducted after the army received intelligence regarding Al-Shabaab militants' operations in the region. Authorities say among those killed were two significant Al-Shabaab leaders.
