Weeks after South Africans petitioned for Chidimma Adetshina's removal from the MISS SA pageant, a new MISS SA has been crowned, a deaf white woman by the name of Mia LeRoux. Nigerian Superstar Burna Boy quickly took to X to bash South Africans for choosing a white woman over a black person, which many responded saying LeRoux's Afrikaans lineage is part of the South African diverse culture, and that is what she represents, people on X pointed out that is not a ''racial'' issue, but a representational issue.
