In the lead up to COP 26, Scottish climate activist Lauren Macdonald found herself sharing a platform with Shell's CEO Ben van Beurden at the TED Countdown conference. She used her platform to disrupt the event and challenged him on Shell's climate crimes and its attempt to repeal progressive climate legislation passed against Shell in the Netherlands.
